Cage-free boarding in a real Etobicoke family home. A supervised dog room that opens onto a private yard, walks that start at the back gate on the Humber River trails, and someone home at all times.
We are not a facility on the other side of Toronto. We are a family home in Etobicoke.
For most Etobicoke owners that means a short trip rather than a long one, which matters more than people expect. Dogs who get anxious in the car arrive settled instead of wound up, and drop-off stops being the stressful part of the day. It also makes a last-minute pick-up realistic rather than an hour of driving.
We have been a family business since 1998, we are fully insured, and we are Walks N Wags Pet First Aid certified. We are rated 5.0 on Google across 16 reviews. Dogs come to us from across Etobicoke and the west end, and from the wider GTA, including Toronto, North York, Mississauga, Vaughan, Brampton and Markham.
The honest version, because this is someone's dog sleeping somewhere new.
Cool tiled floor, raised easy-clean dog beds and blankets. There is always somewhere comfortable to lie down.
The dog room opens directly onto a private, secure backyard, and we back onto the Humber River trails, so walks start at the back gate.
Someone is always home. Dogs are not left to roam the house unsupervised. Cage-free means no crate or kennel run during the day, not free run of the house.
Crates are used at feeding time so each dog eats on its own without pressure. Some dogs choose to sleep in one. Otherwise they are not crated.
We keep the group small so every dog actually gets attention, and you get daily photos and messages while you are away. If you want the full detail on how a stay runs, see our cage-free boarding page.
Convenient if you are flying out of Toronto Pearson.
Being in Etobicoke puts us minutes from the airport, so you can drop off on your way to a flight and pick up on your way home rather than building a second trip into travel day. Pick-up and drop-off is available at $25 one way if that is easier. There is more detail in our guide to boarding near Pearson.
Three steps, and the first one is free.
Send an inquiry with your dates and a bit about your dog, or just call.
Always before a first stay. You see the space, we meet your dog, and everyone decides it is a good fit before anything is booked.
New clients confirm with a 50% deposit. Vaccination records and a packing list are on the requirements page.
Space is limited and first come, first served, and every booking follows a meet and greet. Christmas, New Year and March break fill up early, so it is worth asking well ahead for those.
The same honest rates wherever in the GTA you are coming from.
Second dog is 50% off on regular nights. If you are comparing options across the city, we wrote an honest breakdown of what dog boarding costs in Toronto.
Real dogs, in the real room and yard they stay in.
More answers are on our full FAQ.
Do you board dogs from across Etobicoke?
Yes. Dogs come to us from all over Etobicoke and the west end, and from the wider GTA. Because we are in Etobicoke, it is usually a short trip, which helps a lot with dogs who find long car rides stressful.
Is my dog crated?
Crates are used at feeding time so every dog eats separately and safely. Some dogs choose to sleep in one because they like the den. Otherwise your dog is not crated.
Is my dog ever left alone in the house?
No. Someone is always home, and boarding is supervised. Cage-free means your dog is not shut in a crate or a kennel run during the day. It does not mean dogs are left to roam the house unsupervised, which is how accidents happen.
How close are you to Pearson Airport?
We are minutes from Toronto Pearson (YYZ). Many clients drop off on the way to a flight and pick up on the way home. Pick-up and drop-off is available at $25 one way.
Do we have to meet first?
Yes, and it is free. Every new dog starts with a meet and greet before a first stay, so you can see the space and we can make sure your dog will be comfortable here.
What vaccinations do you require?
Rabies and DHPP are required, and bordetella is recommended. The full list, along with a packing checklist and the deposit and cancellation terms, is on our requirements page.
